Domino Clamps are Hiring! We need a part time digital content manager to join our ambitious team.
Domino Clamps is a young startup company which aims to make reusing shipping containers easier, safer and more sustainable. Our flagship product, the Domino Clamp, was released at the beginning of this year and is a one-of-a-kind British made product which is already selling all over the world. We have a bold, well defined aesthetic and marketing style which is professional without being overly serious or dry.
You are an ambitious, well organised digital content manager, with an eye both for detail and the bigger picture. You are comfortable and familiar with managing all major social media channels on behalf of a company or brand, as well as putting together newsletters in Mailchimp, blogs in Shopify, and keeping an eye on the progress of all of this content using various analytics tools. You should be able to demonstrate the ability to redraft existing copy to create suitably edited copy for different social media platforms, as well as to be able to politely and accurately reply to and engage with potential customers online.
ABOUT THE JOB
This part time role, on free-lance basis, will commence with 10 to 12 hours per week. The actual working times can be flexible provided that daily engagement with customers on social media, and weekly tasks are completed on time. There will be weekly deadlines for blogs and content uploads. Other responsibilities will include composing and scheduling regular social media posts, blog & product posts on shopify and newsletters, all using existing graphics and copy which can be edited as necessary. Structured and documented research into specific audiences will also be necessary as part of the engagement process, and for reposting specific content in interest-specific social media groups and forums online.
Depending on their existing skill level and as their knowledge of the company, services and target markets grow, the Digital Content Manager is also expected to contribute to longer term planning and strategising future social media campaigns and content output.
TERMS AND REQUIREMENTS
We are looking to start with a 3-month contract with possibility of extension, starting on the 7th Sept 2020.
Experience: 3 years desired
Education: Diploma or bachelor’s degree in a relevant areas of study preferred.
Hourly rate : 12 - 20 GBP depending on experience
