Shipping Container Roof Bracket - Product Description
The roof bracket is designed to fix onto the top side rail of a shipping container, providing support for structures or attachments on the roof and along its length. Designed for use with the Domino Clamp.
It is suitable for uses like framing, cladding, building solar panel frames, and various other applications. The bracket supports extended lengths of timber, steel, and tubing, preventing sagging and ensuring stability along the length of the material.
Bolt configuration and usage
The roof bracket features five M12 threaded holes, and comes complete with the set screws necessary for attaching it to the container, plus your choice of length of set screw for the side holes.
For most applications, M12 set screws in holes a, b, and e are used to secure the bracket onto the top rail of the container.
The roof bracket has three primary applications

Supporting long horizontal timbers along the length of your container when roofing, framing and cladding a shipping container. The roof bracket provides additional support to prevent the timber from sagging in the middle of the container, which is especially useful when cladding a 40’ container.

Securing Unistrut channel to the top of the top side rail of your container as part of a Larger Unistrut construction, which is secured to the corners of the container by attaching Unistrut to the Domino Clamp.

Supporting long 48mm (1.5” NPS) tubes along the length of your container, by bolting a horizontal parallel tube clamp to the two side-threaded holes.
This product is not strength-rated or suitable for use on its own; it is designed for support only in combination with Domino Clamps.
